It's a NERD Token. A token for Nerds. Dafuq?

ABOUT US

NERD Statement (a statement from a nerd, dafuq?)

Most of us when we think of the meaning behind a nerd, is one who is geeky, brainy, well studied, and deeply interested in the thing that brings them joy. Well that assumption is correct! Whether one can state the difference between classic and quantum mechanics, to calculating the optimal chain length for a bicycle, to the measurements and materials that create the joy of cooking, we all in one way or another, are NERDS.

A member of the Litecash community @TheNerd386, heard about a project by the name of TurtleNetwork in early 2022, and decided to check it out for himself. What he found was an open source network with a Dex, leasing, and a community of other driven crypto nerds. Also in his findings were the ability to create his very own token. The inception and creation of NERD token was quick, easy and would serve as a great way to send other members of Telegram channels tips of gratitude with an all around fun and light hearted application.

Other projects on the network, such as Transitum.turtlenetwork.eu and Faithswap.finance had liquidity pools going and because of the popularity that NERD Token had gained in many Telegram communities, fellow users, @Doge’ Miguel and @Snap Dragon, who saw potential in the token, approached with the idea of creating liquidity pools for NERD and began the steps of getting them listed. NERD has become the first to do many things as a token on TurtleNetwork and continues to flourish as a fun yet potent entity.

Nerd has its own node on TN (Cashnerds Node), and was diligently prepared by tech-xtraordanaire user @Cleo McDowell along with TheNerd386. It continues to gain more leases, and it is 1 of only 2 Nodes that pays out other assets. NNNNye-ben Gla-ben!

As time passes, and NERD develops from a pointless tip token, to an engrained part of TurtleNetwork Platform, the help and talent of user @PDX Brewer comes in handy with his blockchain scanning and sleuthing skills , NERD Token has lovingly adopted a “We break it, you fix it” pseudo mantra. Many things have been found and fixed by way of calling attention to bugs, creeps, zaps, bits, and blizzats within project’s protocols. Keep em’ coming!

Hey, it’s ok to be a nerd! Be the best one you can be!!!!
